Plot
After his release from prison, mafia capo Dwight “The General” Manfredi is exiled to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he builds a new criminal empire with a cast of unlikely characters. I really like this show
The opening credits sequence shows various photographic and painted views and Oklahoma landmarks set against the New York City landscape: A statue of a Sioux Indian chief named “Touch the Clouds” wearing a War Bonnet and Bone Choker necklace (breastplate) placed on the Brooklyn Bridge A statue of the Golden Driller placed on the Statue of Liberty Route 66 Western Gateway Arch placed on Major Manhattan “Avenue”. In New York City, the borough of Manhattan, which are a series of numbered “Avenues”; intersected by smaller numbered streets. Introducing CBS News Sunday Morning: Episode #45.7 (2022).
It’s a little unbelievable, but mostly entertaining
The humor Stallone brings to the character (from the writers) evens out the absurd bits. Stallone brings a nuanced performance as a recently released monster. Who is given the opportunity to move to a southwestern state and earn the bosses back home.
Fish out of water not
He makes the best of a situation he would rather not be in. Shark in another ocean maybe more than that. This looks to be a fantastic addition to the historic and legendary career of one of Hollywood’s biggest box office hits of all time.
Stallone is in his element and he delivers the goods
